Please contact ClientWhys to activate the Due Date Reminders in your account.
Login to your ClientWhys admin at portal.clientwhys.com
Click on the gear settings icon located to the right of your business name.
Click on Due Dates
Click on Due Date Preferences - Drag to sort the preferred type of due date reminder, either text or email.
Note - If you set Text as a priority, a text message will be sent to the client’s mobile number in their individual client communication tab. If the mobile number is blank, an email will be sent.
Click on Due Date Lead Time
Set how many days prior to the due date you would like the reminder to send.
Click + add a due date
Click on New Due Date
Subject – Enter your custom email subject line here.
Type – Enter the Due Date type; Individual, Business or Estimated Tax Payments. You can create and select a custom recipient list below (see email list database import below). If no recipient list is selected then the following will apply -
- Individuals – Due Dates will be sent to ALL clients
- Business – Due Dates will only be sent to those clients with the company tab enabled on their account.
- Estimated Tax Payments – Due Dates will be sent to ALL individual and company clients.
Recipients – If no selections are made, the due date reminder will go out to all of your subscribers based on the Types listed above.

Email List Database Import
Date – Enter the month, date and year of the due date.
Email Due Date Message – Enter your custom due date reminder message. This message will be sent to the client via email based upon the lead time you have set under Due Date Lead Time preferences.
Text Due Date Message – Enter your custom due date reminder text message. This reminder message will be sent to the client via text based upon the lead time you have set under Due Date Lead Time preferences. Note there is a 140 character limit.
