We have received reports of a new Google Doc spam email circulating with the subject line - (name of the person in your contacts) send you an important document.
This email is spam and should be deleted. Do not click on the link. The email appears to work by tricking you into logging into your actual Google account, then granting a third party access to your account's data. Having gained permission to access your contacts, it has the potential to send a spam email to everyone in your address book.
This is a widespread phishing attack and Google is in the process of investigating.
